Steelers sack Deshaun Watson eight times, defeat Browns 27-6

The Pittsburgh Steelers delivered a defensive performance to remember on Sunday, dismantling the Cleveland Browns 27-6 and moving into first place in the AFC North. Pittsburgh's pass rush overwhelmed quarterback Deshaun Watson all afternoon, recording eight sacks in a relentless display that never allowed Cleveland's offense to find rhythm.

The Steelers' front seven set the tone early, collapsing the pocket on repeated third downs and forcing Watson into hurried throws. The pressure came from every angle, with edge rushers and interior linemen alike breaking through a Browns offensive line that had no answer. Watson finished the day under constant duress, and Cleveland managed only two field goals across four quarters.

Offensively, Pittsburgh did enough to control the game. The Steelers leaned on a balanced attack, converting key third downs and capitalizing on short fields created by the defense. A touchdown before halftime gave the home crowd momentum, and Pittsburgh added to the lead after the break while its defense kept the Browns out of the end zone.

The win lifts the Steelers to the top of a crowded division race and signals that their defense can carry them against quality opponents. For Cleveland, the loss raises familiar questions about protection and offensive consistency. Pittsburgh will look to build on the statement victory as the season moves forward.
