The $100,000 in grants has been awarded to 50 local organizations dedicated to enhancing after-school programming, mentorship, and violence prevention. This initiative aims to support community efforts that promote physical activity, mental health, and overall well-being among youth.

Each recipient organization will use the funds to implement programs that foster a safe and engaging environment for children and teenagers. These grants are part of a broader commitment to invest in the health and future of the community, ensuring that young people have access to resources that encourage positive development.

The focus on mentorship and violence prevention is particularly significant in today's climate, where many young individuals face various challenges. By providing structured activities and support systems, these organizations hope to create pathways for success and resilience. The collaboration among local entities highlights the community's dedication to nurturing the next generation through sports and wellness initiatives.
