Social media wasn't kind to the Crimson Tide on Tuesday. After the latest College Football Playoff rankings were released, fans and analysts took to various platforms to express their disbelief at Alabama's position. Many users described the ranking as "legit insane," questioning the committee's decision-making process.

Critics pointed out that Alabama's performance this season has not lived up to its storied history. Some fans argued that the team has struggled against top opponents, leading to a lack of confidence in their playoff potential. The reactions ranged from humorous memes to serious discussions about the integrity of the ranking system.

Supporters of the team, however, defended Alabama, citing their strong recruiting classes and past successes.
