Packers QB Jordan Love Ready to Face Texans in Week 7

October 24, 2026 - 03:56

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is set to play in Week 7 after practicing without any injury limitations. Love did not miss any practice time this week, clearing the way for him to start against the Houston Texans on Sunday.

The Packers have been managing Love's workload carefully in recent weeks, but his full participation in practice signals that he is healthy and ready for a full game. Coaches have expressed confidence in his availability, and the team has not listed him with any game status designation that would suggest otherwise.

Love's presence under center is important for a Green Bay offense that has shown flashes of promise but also inconsistency through the first six weeks of the season. His ability to push the ball downfield and extend plays with his legs gives the Packers a dimension they need against a Houston defense that has been aggressive in recent matchups.

The Texans present a challenge with a defensive front that can generate pressure, so Love's mobility and decision making will be tested. Green Bay's offensive line will need to hold up to give him time to operate.

With Love confirmed ready, the Packers can focus on execution rather than uncertainty at the most important position on the field. Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field.
