Hernández Recalls Emotional Buildup in Return to Dodgers

Kiké Hernández described an intense emotional buildup leading up to his return to the Los Angeles Dodgers lineup after recovering from an oblique injury. The veteran utility player, known for his postseason heroics and clubhouse energy, admitted the process was tougher than he expected.

Hernández had been sidelined for several weeks with the injury, a frustrating setback during a critical stretch of the season. He spent countless hours in rehab, working through pain and doubt while watching his teammates compete. When he finally got the green light to play again, the emotions hit him hard.
